In Ethiopia I spent two fantastic weeks with the crew of Bereket Tadasse. The first week was trekking in the national park of the Bale Mountains. Endless horizons, beautiful views, swimming in mountain lakes, wild nature, excellent organization of the expedition, delicious food, smiles, readiness to help in any situation made our whole group reach the highest peak of the Bale Mountains – Tulu Dimtu.

Frozen in time Ethiopia is a guarantee of a wonderful adventure. I spent two weeks there with a group of frends and Omo Region Tours. In the south of Ethiopia we traveld a few hundreds km by off- road vehicles. I am enchanted by the incredible beauty of the landscape of the National Park of the Bale Mountains and the people we met from the Konso, Hamer, Mursi and Dorze tribs. Thanks to Bereket Tadasse and his team we traveled without any problems – they are true professionals. I recommend Omo Region Tours , because they can prepare an interesting program, ensure its flawless implementation and additionally create a wonderful atmosphere during the trip.

Trekking Trip to Ethiopia with Bereket Tadesse
My trekking trip to Ethiopia was an extraordinary experience that will forever remain in my memory. Hiking through the majestic Bale Mountains provided unforgettable moments—ranging from raw, wild landscapes to encounters with endemic animal species. These mountains are a true haven for nature and adventure lovers.
However, it wasn’t just the spectacular views that made this journey unique. Visiting the indigenous villages allowed me to immerse myself in cultures and traditions that have endured for centuries. Meetings with local residents were full of authenticity and warmth, and their way of life offered valuable lessons in simplicity and harmony with nature.
Outstanding Tribal Experience
I have been to the southern part of Ethiopia last January guided by Becky of Omo Valley Tour and it was an incredible experience.
I got deeper in the tribal culture visiting almost 10 different sites.
Thanks to the fluent english that he speaks we had also a very funny time talking all the time about the country itself and about our lives in different nations, comparing them.
I learnt so much about Ethiopia and I feel blessed to have him as a guide. So prepared.
Last thing: I felt safe all the time and he and the driver were always available to help me in case of need.
